Has the mother or father of your child ever said the below?
“Call me as soon as you get there to let me know you are okay.”
“If you get scared, you call me right away. Okay?”
“I’ll come to get you if you want to come home.”
If so, you have just witnessed your child being alienated from you. I was subjected to this when my soon to be EX took the eldest daughter to a friends house and my youngest daughter and I were excited we would be alone. Not 5 minutes later my youngest received a call and based on her response I could tell that she was being asked if she was ‘OK’ being there with me.
